This year at Global Momentum, Aderant launched Stridyn, our innovative AI-driven cloud platform that revolutionizes productivity and user experiences for law firms around the world.

Stridyn’s modern cloud-native technology allows law firms to accelerate interconnectivity between applications and streamlines workflows, giving legal professionals seamless access to advanced technology in a familiar, reliable, and secure way.

But what does that mean and how does that create value for law firms? Here is how.

Aderant has a wide portfolio of innovative solutions that help law firms efficiently operate their business, practice, and talent management aspects. When applications operate on the Stridyn platform, they can unlock a myriad of new benefits that enable law firms to achieve extraordinary outcomes that have not been possible before.

However, many law firms have a variety of disparate products and point solutions, including those from Aderant but also some from other providers. Each firm’s mixture of products allows it to track time and expenses, prepare and deliver bills, manage accounts receivable and collections, and communicate throughout the process.

But when various point solutions are not working in concert, roadblocks can arise that hinder the operations process.

Stridyn skillfully interconnects a variety of point solutions. Whether the applications are Aderant products or not, the AI-driven platform allows the firm’s applications to communicate with each other in a way that optimizes their capabilities.

Solving Bigger Problems, Including Work-to-Cash

Stridyn effectively alleviates common obstacles that firms grapple with frequently, focusing on automating and enforcing compliance throughout the complete work-to-cash process. The platform solves end-to-end compliance and automates the entire billing process, enabling law firms to accelerate their crucial work-to-cash cycle by compressing the time elapsed between when the work is done and when the firm receives cash-in-hand. The AI-driven cloud platform also allows firms to incorporate talent data such as lawyer skills, interests, and availability into matter planning and staffing to improve profitability and client satisfaction.

The foundation of efficiency that Stridyn orchestrates leads to firms achieving higher revenue faster and in a way that is more efficient and that improves the following areas.

  • Setup & Readiness: Streamlined outside counsel guidelines (OCGs) intake, negotiation, and setup.
  • Time & Expenses: Simple, client-compliant timekeeping which leads to more successful billing.
  • Bill Preparation: Centralized bill preparation and review.
  • Bill Delivery: Automated email/eBill delivery.
  • Accounts Receivable (A/R) and Collections: Accelerated collections, appeals and cash application.
  • Analytics & Insights: Bill status tracking, A/R and deductions analytics.

Capitalizing on Advanced AI Tools

Stridyn enables quick and easy deployment of AI capabilities across all applications on the platform. MADDI, the Aderant AI virtual associate, is incorporated throughout the work-to-cash cycle to automate and eliminate common routine manual tasks. An example of such tasks is matching cash receipts with open invoices, improving the speed and efficiency of the accounts receivable process.

Another example is enforcing compliance throughout that whole cycle to ensure the firm adheres to OCGs and billing requirements at every step. That way, when they send their clients a bill, the invoice will get paid the first time through and not be rejected.

The cloud platform allows law firms to use MADDI to answer questions. MADDI’s natural language interface can understand and provide responses not only by retrieving information, but by also performing routine tasks.

Advanced Analytics

Stridyn also has advanced analytics, which includes dashboards, centralized reporting and analytics infrastructure built in across all applications. The platform leverages advanced analytics on a much bigger scale so it can provide analysis across the law firm’s entire software ecosystem.

Stridyn is designed based on SOC 2 compliance principles, which is the most stringent security standard. Aderant works closely with vetted cloud platform providers to ensure that our processes dovetail with their best practices for security.

Module-Based Approach Which Reduces Training Barriers

Aderant has always taken a modular approach to technology solutions, and Stridyn embraces that philosophy. Stridyn chunks up its capabilities into smaller “bite-size” discrete discretionary capabilities so firms can choose their own timeline as to when to take on new innovations. This leads to smaller nuggets of change at a time versus a massive disruptive change which can lead to slower productivity.

The Stridyn Journey Has Just Begun

Stridyn is a journey that will never stop and there is no end point. The Aderant development team has reimagined and redeveloped the back-end infrastructure of the platform, allowing clients to interconnect applications with no SQL infrastructure, APIs, or connectors. Aderant is committed to delivering a modern native cloud experience, while driving seamless innovation. Stridyn is powering all our cloud applications, including Expert Sierra, Onyx, BillBlast, iTimekeep, vi, and Milana, and it will continue to expand
